258　chicken, fish和tea是可数名词还是不可数名词

1　chicken 作“小鸡”解时，为可数名词；chicken 作“鸡肉”解时，为不可数名词。

She keeps chickens in the yard. 她在院子里养鸡。

He bought two chickens yesterday. 他昨天买了2只小鸡。

She likes chicken very much. 她喜欢吃鸡肉。

2　fish 作“鱼”解时，单复数同形；fish 作“不同种类的鱼”解时，可用复数形式；fish 作“鱼肉”解时，为不可数名词。

He caught a fish yesterday. 他昨天抓了1条鱼。

He caught three fish yesterday. 他昨天抓了3条鱼。

These fishes are only found in the ocean. 这些鱼只有在海洋里才能见到。（不同的种类 ）

She likes fish better than meat. 与肉相比，她更喜欢吃鱼。

Please help yourself to some more fish . 请再多吃点鱼。

3　tea 作“茶”解时，为不可数名词；tea 表示“不同种类的茶”时，为可数名词；tea 作“一杯茶”解时，为可数名词。

Mother is making tea . 母亲在沏茶。

It is a wonderful tea . 这是一种好茶。

Three teas and a coffee, please. 请来3杯茶和1杯咖啡。
