The Donkey and the Frog 驴和青蛙

One day, a donkey was carrying a bundle of wood and he fell into the river. He struggIed to come out from the water but in vain.The donkey moaned and cried for help.

Some frogs in the water heard the cries. They came to the donkey and said，“You only fall into the river once and you make such a fuss.How about us who stay in the water for such a long time?How pitiful would that be?”

有一天，一头驴驮着一捆木材摔进了河里。它挣扎着想爬上岸来，可总是爬不上来，驴便唉声叹气地高呼救命。

河里的青蛙听到了驴的呼救声，成群出来围观并对驴说：“你只不过是摔了一跤，跌进河里，就这样大嚷大叫。如果你像我们一样长期居住在这里，你又会痛苦成什么样子呢？”
