Super mom, 60, gives birth to twin girls
 

A 60-year-old pregnant woman rests at a hospital in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province, on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, before giving birth to two healthy twin girls later that day, smashing the record for the oldest woman in China to give birth. After losing her daughter, 28, and son-in-law in a gas poisoning accident last year, the age-defying woman decided to get pregnant again, via artificial insemination. After 34 weeks of pregnancy (short of the 40-week average duration), the woman gave birth to two healthy baby girls, weighing 1.45 kg and 1.85 kg (3.2 pounds and 4 pounds) respectively.
