12岁男孩在新泽西高档乡村俱乐部溺水身亡

A 12-year-old boy drowned Wednesday at an upscale New Jersey country club, authorities said.

当局称，周三，一名12岁的男孩在新泽西州一家高档乡村俱乐部溺水身亡。

The child was playing in the water at private Lake Valhalla Club in Montville around 3:30 p.m. when he went under, the Morris Country Prosecutor’s Office said.

莫里斯县检察官办公室说，蒙特维尔下午3:30左右，这名儿童在的瓦尔哈拉湖私人俱乐部(Lake Valhalla Club)的水中玩耍，突然沉了下去。

The water is about 10 to 12 feet deep and lifeguards were on duty at the time, ABC7 reported.

The boy was underwater for about 20 minutes before he was pulled out and given CPR, News 12 reported. He could not be revived.

The child’s identity hasn’t been released. An investigation is ongoing.
