Millions of kids’ water bottles have been recalled over choking concerns, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Tuesday.

Contigo cleanable kids’ water bottles were yanked from shelves after the company received 149 reports of the clear silicone spout disengaging — and becoming lodged in childrens’ mouths in 18 cases, according to the recall notice.

The affected model — of which 5.7 million units were sold nationwide from April 2018 to June 2019 — comes in 13-, 14- and 20-ounce sizes.

Per the recall notice, anyone in possession of one is urged to “immediately stop using the recalled water bottles, take them away from children and contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid.”
