The reform and opening-up of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone will be comprehensively deepened, according to a plan issued by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council on Sept 6.

The new blueprint was formulated to help Qianhai better play an exemplary and leading role in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

方案将推动前海合作区全面深化改革开放，在粤港澳大湾区建设中更好发挥示范引领作用。

It proposes increasing the area of the Qianhai cooperation zone from 14.92 square kilometers to 120.56.

根据该方案，前海合作区总面积由14.92平方公里扩展至120.56平方公里。

By 2035, Qianhai will boast a world-class business environment and will become an engine for high-quality development with strong capability in global resource allocation, breeding innovation and coordinated development.

到2035年，营商环境达到世界一流水平，建成全球资源配置能力强、创新策源能力强、协同发展带动能力强的高质量发展引擎。

Qianhai will advance the development of the modern service industry, accelerate the reform and innovation of the system and mechanisms for sci-tech development, and innovate its governance model. It will also promote free trade in services with Hong Kong and Macao, expand the opening-up of the financial sector, further open up legal affairs and promote high-level participation in international cooperation.

前海深港现代服务业合作区将推进现代服务业创新发展、加快科技发展体制机制改革创新、创新合作区治理模式、深化与港澳服务贸易自由化、扩大金融业对外开放、提升法律事务对外开放水平、高水平参与国际合作。
