China's software and information technology sector sustained stable growth in the first four months of this year, with revenue amounting to 2.77 trillion yuan from software-related business, up 10.8 percent year-on-year, data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed on Monday.

5月23日，工信部公布数据显示，今年1-4月我国软件和信息技术服务业（下称“软件业”）运行态势平稳。从总体上看，1-4月我国软件业务收入2.77万亿元，同比增长10.8%。

Companies in the sector raked in 278.5 billion yuan in combined profits, down 1.4 percent year-on-year, shrinking from the 3.9 percent decline registered in the first quarter.
1-4月份，软件业利润总额2785亿元，同比下降1.4%，降幅较一季度收窄2.5个百分点。

During the January-April period, China's software exports came in at $16 billion, up 3.6 percent year-on year.
1-4月份，软件业务出口160亿美元，同比增长3.6%。
