Mum Camel:They’re for storing fat out in the desert.

Baby Camel: Why do we have hooves，then？

Mum Camel: So our feet don’t sink into the hot sand.

Baby Camel: Why do we have these long，fluttery eyelashes？

Mum Camel: To keep the sand out of our eyes in a sandstorm.

Baby Camel: Right. So why do we have all this stuff if we live in the London Zoo？

骆驼宝宝：“妈妈，为什么我们有这么大的驼峰？”

骆驼妈妈：“那是用来储存脂肪，供我们在沙漠里用的。”

骆驼宝宝：“那么为什么我们长有蹄子？”

骆驼妈妈：“这样我们的脚才不会陷进滚烫的沙里。”

骆驼宝宝：“为什么我们有这么长、这么浓密的睫毛？”

骆驼妈妈：“它能隔离沙暴，使沙子不能进入我们的眼中。”

骆驼宝宝：“明白了。既然我们生活在伦敦动物园里，为什么还要配这些东西呢？”
