A Highway to Hawaii

A man was walking on a highway when he discovered a genie lamp. He rubbed it and a genie came out and said，“I will grant you one wish.”

The man thought for a minute and said，“Well，I never have gone to Hawaii because I never could afford it. Could you make a highway from here to Hawaii so I could just drive over anytime？”

The genie sighed and said，“Man，I have been in this genie business for 10，000 years. I am quite tired. Can’t you think of something a little more simple？”

The man thought and said，“Well，you know，I have been married to my wife for 5 years now but I still can’t understand her. Can you make it so I can from now on？”

The genie sighed again and said，“Two lanes or four？”

通往夏威夷之路

一个人在路上走着，发现了一盏神灯。他擦亮神灯后，一个精灵跳了出来，说：“我可以满足你一个愿望。”

这人想了一下说：“好吧。我从来没去过夏威夷，因为我负担不起费用。你能建一条从这儿通往夏威夷的高速公路吗？这样我就能随时驾车去那儿了。”

精灵叹息道：“先生，我在神灯里已经待了一万年了，感到特别累。你想想有没有其他简单一点的愿望？”

这人想了想说：“你知道，我和妻子已经结婚5年了，但到现在我仍然不能了解她。你能想办法让我从现在开始就了解她吗？”

精灵再次叹息道：“你要的路是两车道还是四车道的？”
