Salesman

A salesman is trying to call a client．

The phone rings and a little boy，in a whisper，says，“Hello．”

Salesman：“Is your mommy there？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“Yes．”

Salesman：“Can I speak with her？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“She’s busy．”

Salesman：“Is your daddy there？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“Yes．”

Salesman：“Can I speak with him？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“He’s busy．”

Salesman：“Is there anyone else there？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“The fire department．”

Salesman：“Can I talk to one of them？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“They’re busy．”

Salesman：“Is there anybody else there？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“The police department．”

Salesman：“Well，can I talk to one of them？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“They’re busy．”

Salesman：“Let me get this straight，your mother，father，the fire department and the police department are all in your house，and they’re all busy．What are they doing？”

Little Boy：（whisper）“They’re looking for me．”

推销员

推销员给一个客户打电话。

电话铃响了，接电话的是一个小男孩，小声地说：“你好。”

推销员：“你妈妈在吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“在。”

推销员：“我能和她说话吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“她在忙呢。”

推销员：“你爸爸在吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“在。”

推销员：“能让他来接电话吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“他也在忙着呢。”

推销员：“家里还有其他人在吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“还有消防队员。”

推销员：“能让他们来接电话吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“他们都在忙着呢。”

推销员：“家里面还有谁？”

小男孩：（小声地）“还有警察。”

推销员：能让他们接电话吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“他们也没空。”

推销员：“让我把你说的话整理一下，你妈妈、爸爸、消防队员和警察都在你家，而且都忙得要命。他们到底在干吗？”

小男孩：（小声地）“他们在找我。”
