6. A horrible e-mail

A couple from New York decided to go to Florida for a weekend to warm themselves up during one icy cold winter. It was decided that the husband would fly to Florida on a Thursday, and his wife would follow him the next day. Upon arriving as planned, the husband checked into the hotel. There he sent his wife an e-mail. However, he accidentally left off one letter in her address and sent it out.

In the mean time: in Houston, a woman had just returned from her husband's funeral1. He had been "called home to glory" following a heart attack. The woman checked her e-mail, expecting messages from family and friends. Upon reading the first message, she fainted2 and fell to the floor. Her son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My loving Wife

From: Your Departed Husband

Subject: I've arrived!

I've just arrived and have been checked in. Everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then. Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.

恐怖的电邮

在一个冰冷的冬天，一对纽约夫妇决定去佛罗里达过一个温暖的周末。他们决定丈夫周四先飞往佛罗里达，妻子第二天过去。按计划到达后，丈夫住进了宾馆。在宾馆他给妻子发了一封电子邮件。然而，他在输入妻子邮址时漏了一个字母，信就这么发了出去。

与此同时，在休斯顿，一女子刚刚从丈夫的葬礼上回来。丈夫由于心脏病发作回到了上帝的怀抱。她查看了一下邮箱，希望有亲人和朋友的信件。但读完第一封信，她就晕倒在地板上了。她儿子冲进房间，发现妈妈躺在地板上，而电脑屏幕上闪烁着这样的内容：

致：我亲爱的妻子

发件人：你离开了的丈夫

主题：我已经到了！

我刚到并已经入住了。我已经安排好一切，就等你明天来了。期盼着到时见到你。希望你的行程和我一样顺利。

另：这儿真的很热。
