Asinine 仅有形容词功能，指人的判断力、智慧或事物的情况差到极点，语意为“愚笨的，十分驴的，糟糕的，乱七八糟的，莫名其妙的”等。通常所形容的名词有：idea，suggestion，excuse，comment，remark等。

2.同一格式可以引用“This is an asinine excuse.(这是说不通的借口)”。另如“This is an asinine remark.(这真是胡说八道)”，“That was an asinine suggestion.(那简直是莫名其妙的建议)”。在适当的情况下，也可用惊叹语式，如“What an asinine comment！ (这算什么评论!)”，或“What an asinine remark!(简直胡说八道)”。

这些短语都是名词性质，可做主语、宾语、补语之用。
