国务院新闻办发布《中国军队参加联合国维和行动30年》白皮书。白皮书指出，30年来，中国军队为世界和平英勇出征、砥砺前行，成为联合国维护和平的关键力量。

The white paper, titled "China's Armed Forces: 30 Years of UN Peacekeeping Operations," was released by the State Council Information Office. Serving on the UN missions for world peace, China's armed forces have become a key force in UN peacekeeping operations over the past three decades, says the document.

和平是人类共同愿望和崇高目标。联合国维和行动为和平而生，为和平而存，成为维护世界和平与安全的重要途径。维和行动给冲突地区带去信心，让当地民众看到希望。

Peace is an aspiration and lofty goal shared by all mankind. UN peacekeeping missions were created for maintaining peace. And as an important means of upholding world peace and security, they now bring confidence and hope to the people in conflict zones.
