Standing in a tower, breeze gently wafting,

My gaze reaches the horizon,

Where a sense of spring-sorrow is creeping.

The grass and the haze are now in fading light;

Who knows why I linger mute by the railings?

I want to drown my ruffled feeling in wines,

So to turn my sorrow merry,

But labored cheerfulness is so cheerless.

I never regret my clothes are getting loose,

For I am eager to pine for you, in truth.
