TUNE: SILK-WASHING STREAM

 

Half moss-hidden is my courtyard a hundred acres wide,

Before my gate a winding path by riverside.

Who would visit one fond of leisure and free hours?

Spring in my courtyard girt with corridors is still;

Two or three peach and apricots stand near the hill.

For whom are they blooming and then fall in showers?

百亩中庭半是苔，

门前白道水萦回。

爱闲能有几人来？

小院回廊春寂寂，

山桃溪杏两三栽。

为谁零落为谁开？
