这天，虽然再没听到第二声狮吼，但白白却不敢离窝半步，饿着肚子过了一天。第二天一大早，白白就钻进了一片萝卜地。刚把萝卜挖出来，就被一条大黄狗给扑倒在地。白白使出吃奶劲才从大黄狗嘴里逃脱。但从那以后，只要一听到狗叫，白白两腿就发软。
不知过了多少天，白白只靠吃窝附近的一些山菜草根充饥。白白感觉自己的身体在逐渐缩小。几乎没有山猫大了。
白白下决心：明天无论遇到什么，也一定要找到填饱肚子的食物。
