     In the cartoon above, a young man in a wet swim ring is leaving a river named "workplace". He is saying, "The water here is not suitable for me and I will look for better water elsewhere."
     Most people switch jobs several times during their careers. Some young people even move from one company or job to the next in rapid succession-a practice known as job-hopping. Although the occasional change of job may be of some benefit to young people, rampant job-hopping is likely to hinder their employability and ruin their financial status. Most employers want to see evidence of stickability in previous jobs because that is a quality they want to see in prospective employees. Too many people suffer from "the grass is greener on the other side" syndrome to realize that all they are doing is jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
     Whether it is the pursuit of short-term gain or a result of habit, serial job-hopping is a losing bet for young people.
