As is clearly shown in the picture，the examinee with a pair of glasses is busy playing his mobile phone while he is faced with a lot of textbooks ready to be finished．On the ground lies a poor masterpiece left without anybody to care for it．We can easily infer that the student's time is limited and reading the textbook occupies most of his time while the rest of it is for playing video games．As a result，reading the classics is given up from his life．

As I see it，it is completely unwise that we don't spare a minute to read some masterpieces．As the saying goes，“Good books are the best friends who will never turn their backs upon us．” Masterpieces are the precious books that gather the great men's thoughts and experience and are able to guide our life．Since the masterpieces stood the test of time，they are worth our time to understand the profound meaning between the lines of the books．In addition to all the benefits that masterpieces bring to us，we should also remember to combine work and rest．Now that we've spent a lot of time on textbooks，we'd better read the classics to relax our mind as well as enrich our knowledge．

However，because we are dominated by an exam-oriented education system，many students focus on the utilitarian thought that text grades are of the greatest importance of all．In my opinion，reading classics and improving studies can supplement each other．If we have a rich and wise mind，it can obviously be easy for us to understand what we are learning．

In brief，by reading some masterpieces we can develop ourselves better with yielding twice the result with half the effort．
