You'll have to pass the security check before you take the underground in Shanghai．However，it's a common phenomenon that some passengers are ignorant of the necessity of the check and thus reluctant to accept it．

There're various factors contributing to the phenomenon．The most obvious one is that passengers may consider it a waste of time doing the check．With their mind filled with the self-centered idea that they themselves can't be the ones who bring anything harmful，they feel that they're deprived of the previous time because of the useless check．Another false outlook on the check is that such a check has nothing to do with ordinary passengers．Some passengers view the accidents related to dangerous articles as news or stories of others as if they will never happen to themselves．Still others find it uncomfortable to have their personal possessions scanned and watched．Having a strong sense of privacy，they're annoyed when forced to do the check．

There's no denying that most of the passengers checked are citizens who always obey the regulations．But I still insist that we should never try to escape the check，which indicates thoughtless and even selfishness．Primarily，receiving the check is out of the concern for ourselves and all the other passengers．What's more，we should also show respect for others by not seeking the privilege to pass without a check．Those who never put others into account are to blame．
