You can’t see “CaptainAmerica: Civil War” just yet, but “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn did and he has some very kind words to say about the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking to fans in a Q&A on Facebook, Gunn says, “It’s one of the best Marvel movies ever, and I can’t believe what a wonderful job [directors Joe and Anthony Russo] did. And the cast. Oh my God, they’re so good. So it’s an amazing film and people are going to be really excited to see that come summertime.”Naturally, Gunn can’t delve into spoilers because he likes his job and certainly doesn’t want to lose it. However, he simply can’t help himself when gushing over Tom Holland — who’s taking on the role of Spider-Man in the MCU.“Tom Holland is … off-the-charts awesome. Off. The. Charts. Awesome. Off the charts. Truly. Hand to my heart, he’s amazing,” Gunn proclaims. While that doesn’t exactly say how involved Spider-Man is in “Civil War” or what his story is in the movie, it must be reassuring for fans of the webslinger to hear such a positive review of the portrayal this early.“CaptainAmerica: Civil War” is in theaters May 16.
