　　你听到的for crying out loud并不读作/ˈfɔ:ˈkraɪɪŋˈaʊtˈlaʊd/而是/ˈfɔ:ˈkraɪɪŋˈgaʊtˈlaʊd/，这是因为出现了-ng的连读。在英语口语中，如果前一个单词的结尾为-ng，且发/ŋ/的音，而后面的单词以元音开头，这两个单词就可以连读，但要在两个单词之间加上/g/的音。如：
