I am Allen Shaw, a Berlin-based Indian artist, illustrator, and storyteller. I am trained as an animation filmmaker, but I do not practice filmmaking anymore. Every year, I do a series of illustrations on autumn. Therefore, inspired by the current season this year, I decided to collect leaves, photograph them, and then add watercolor illustrations to express my love for it.

In my opinion, the fall season is magical and I personally can't get enough of it. Have I forgotten to mention that it's also my favorite time of the year?

My medium is essentially watercolors, but for this series, I used photography as the base. After clicking the images, I studied the character of the compositions and then started doing the figures that fit the context of the photos. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did creating them.
