38. for不应该出现的地方

　　for, to, from等介词的使用对于Angry Editor的很多中国朋友和同事来是最头疼的问题。应该用哪个?什么时候用?什么时候不用?

　　这个问题很复杂，即使写一本书也写不完。不过，Angry Editor起码可以帮助大家知道犯错最多的情况。

　　一般情况下，for与time(次数)这个词不一起使用。举例如下：

　　“这条微博被转发了两千多次。”不应该说成：

　　This tweet has been retweeted for more than 2,000 times.

　　“我去了八回”不应该说成：

　　I have been there for eight times.

　　正确的表达应该是：

　　This tweet has been retweeted more than 2,000 times

　　I have been there eight times.

　　不过，当与序数词连用时，还是应该使用for。例如：

　　I saw him for the fourth time this year.

　　我今年第四次见到他。
