MAX:So, I went to visit Clifford today to ask him for an extension on my rent. Well , he wasn't there but Mr. Linderman the property owner was. So I was going to ask him for an extension on my rent but before I could say anything, he offered me a job. Clifford's. He said that he needed somebody to take care of Clifford's job while he was in the hospital.

MAX:You know to just fix a few things, clean the grounds, deal with the tenants. He said that if I work for him, I wouldn't have to pay for this month's rent, that he'd call it even. Sounds like a good deal to me.
