75. Asking for Sick Leave 病假条

Dear Mr. Liu,

I'm sorry to tell you that I can't go to school today. I went skating yesterday and fell ill at night. This morning I had a terrible headache. After taking my temperature, my mother found that I had a high fever. So she took me to the hospital. The doctor said that I had caught a bad cold and advised me to stay in bed for two days. So I can neither go to school nor take part in the football match between our class and Class Two tomorrow afternoon. Another member should be arranged to take my place. But I hope that our team will win. One more thing please, could Wang Ming stop by to tell me the result of the match on his way home.

很抱歉我今天不能去上学。昨天我去滑冰，夜里就病倒了。今天早晨我感到头很疼，一量体温，我正发高烧，于是妈妈带我去看病。医生说我患重感冒，建议我休息两天，所以我既不能上学，也不能参加明天与二班的足球赛，请安排其他同学准备上场。但是我仍希望我们队能赢。还有一件事，请王明在回家的路上来告诉我球赛的结果。
