What do you see as the most difficult task in being a manager?

When I have to let people go,who have made contributions and hae been loyal to the company over the years,due to downsizing or another reason that is beyond their control.
当我因为裁员或是一些当事人和我都无能为力的原因，不得不解雇长期以来忠于公司并做出贡献的员工时，就感到很困难。
Especially when I know their family members and that they may face some financial hardship at least for a short period of time.
特别是当我认识到那些员工的家人，知道他们至少短期内在经济上会有困难的时候。
After 10 years of management,my stomach still sinks when I have to announce layoffs to my subordinates.
做了10年的管理者，至今，当我必须通知下属被解雇时，我仍然会觉得心情沉重。
如果有解雇员工的经历，可以讲一下，也可以叙述培养自己的领导能力或激励下属能力时所遇到的困难。不过，所举的最好是发生在过去而现在能力以及得到提升的样子。
