The only problem was, the meeting occurred at the same time as my daughter's first big trip away from home. It was a big moment for her and her friends—to go on a multiple day trip—and my daughter needed me to be there.

In today's fast-pace business environment, unexpected challenges come at you from all directions, with no end in sight. Sometimes I read articles about myself and my career path and it makes it sound so easy.
