1. I’ll go on a shopping spree.

我要去疯狂购物。

Spree 的英文解释有：If you spend a period of time doing something in an excessive way, you can say that you are going on a particular kind of spree. 放纵

放纵自己去购物，也就是购物狂欢啦~

 

 

2. I’ll go on a shopping binge.

我要去大买特买。

Going on a binge狂饮作乐

Binge这个单词的意思是If you go on a binge, you do too much of something, such as drinking alcohol, eating, or spending money. 放纵 [非正式]

Binge放在名词后表示对这个名词表达的内容非常喜欢，

如：

a chocolate binge 巧克力迷

cocaine binge咖啡因瘾君子

crack binge吸毒成性

 

 

3. I’ll spend money like water.

我要挥金如土。

英国是一个岛国，离不开水;而我们中国的许多地区深处内陆，人们的生活离不开土地。所以，英语中有许多习语与“水”有关，而汉语却常常拿“土”作比。这就是为什么同样是比喻花钱浪费，大手大脚，英语是 spend money like water，而汉语却是“挥金如土”。
