英语里的数字单位跟中文有些不同，比如我们的“万”这个概念，英语里则是“十千”，“亿”则是“百百万”。
single-digit number: 一位数
double-digit number: 两位数
three-digit number: 三位数
英语个、十、百位数大家基本都能掌握，我们着重讲比较烧脑的大数字：
ten thousand: 一万
a hundred thousand: 十万
a million: 一百万
ten million: 一千万
a hundred million: 一亿
a billion: 十亿
ten billion: 一百亿
a hundred billion: 一千亿
a trillion: 一万亿
注意，hundred, thousand不加s:
除了thousands of, 英语里具体数字涉及hundred, thousand都不加s:
比如3000是three thousand;
30000是thirty thousand;
30万是300 hundred thousand, 都不加s;
Million和billion也是相同逻辑
这才是美国人的英语数字念法
千位数：书面、口语表达方式不同
像1500这样的，千位百位都是有数字，个位十位都是零的数字，口语中常常把前两位按十位数念出来，再加上hundred。
1500即fifteen hundred
6600即sixty-six hundred
但如果是整千的数字，也就是百位数是零的话，比如5000，就不能说成“fifty hundred”，而应该念“five thousand”。
In math class, the teacher would always say “one thousand and five hundred”: 上数学课，老师都会念“one thousand and five hundred”
If I'm talking to my friend, I'd say, “fifteen hundred.”: 如果是跟朋友聊天，我会说“fifteen hundred”
不是整数的数字怎么念?
窍门是遇到四位数以上的数字，我们先遵循英语千、万...的表达方法，接着把剩下的数字放在一起念：
比如
1555: fifteen hundred and fifty five或者one thousand five hundred and fifty-five15555: fifteen thousand five hundred and fifty five155555: a hundred fifty thousand five hundred and fifty five虽然有点搞，不过大家多看几遍，就会理解其中的规律了;价格怎么念?
去过美国的朋友一定知道，美国的价格经常以.99结尾，碰到这类数字该怎么念呢?
一般表达价格的时候，念法都会有所简化。比如小数点(demical point)就会直接省略，不用说point; 而dollar等钱的单位在口语里也常常不说。

nine ninety-nine: $9.99

People simplify these number-related expressions for the sake of convenience: 许多数字的念法被简化了，为了说起来更方便小数和分数
小于1的数字，最前面的零口语里可以省略，比如0.8就是point eight。
分数的念法和中文是反过来的，比如：
1/5是one fifth; 3/5是three fifth, 1/10是one tenth另外注意，后缀要加th
decimal: 小数
(zero) point eight: 0.8
(zero) point five: 0.5
percentage: 百分数
fraction: 分数
one fourth/one quarter: 1/4
one half (two fourths): 1/2 (2/4)
three fourths/three quarters: 3/4
