1. 在语态上。

1）现在分词（除被动式外）表示主动意义。

What he said was very touching .

他说的话很感人。

2）过去分词表示被动意义。

I was touched by the sight.

我被这一幕感动了。

2. 在时间上。

1）现在分词表示动作正在进行。

the rising sun

正在升起的太阳

developing countries

发展中的国家

2）过去分词表示动作的完成。

the fallen leaves

落叶

the risen sun

升起的太阳

3）过去分词有时候没有一定的时间性。
