1　英语中有些名词在某层意义上要用复数形式，不可用单数形式，如：congratulations（祝贺），thanks（感谢），wishes（祝愿）等。

2　thanks to 意为“多亏……，由于……”，后跟名词，在句中作状语，可以放在句首，也可以放在句尾。不能说thank to。

Thanks to your help, I've passed the exam. 多亏了你的帮助，我通过了考试。

I bought the house, thanks to your money. 正是由于你借给了我钱，我才买下了这所房子。
