    Six people in northeast China's Liaoning Provincewere recently sentenced and fined after beingconvicted of excavating and robbing relics of theGreat Wall and an ancient tomb.

    最近,东北辽宁省6人因盗掘长城遗址和古墓,而被判刑和罚款。

    The criminals excavated a Great Wall relics site, dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and aQing Dynasty (1644-1911) ancient tomb in Jinzhouof Liaoning in May 2018, according to a local court.

    据当地法院称,犯罪分子于2018年5月在辽宁金州发掘了一处长城遗址,(该遗址)可追溯到明朝(1368-1644年)和大清王朝(1644-1911年)的古墓。

    The excavation caused severe damage to the Great Wall relics. A porcelain bowl and apottery pot were stolen from the tomb, according to the provincial antique protectioncenter.

    此次盗掘对长城遗址造成了严重破坏。据辽宁省文物保护中心所述,从古墓中盗走瓷碗和陶盆各一件。

    Two criminals were sentenced to six months in prison, and the other four were placed onprobation. They were fined from 3,000 yuan (US$446) to 8,000 yuan each.

    其中2名罪犯被处有期徒刑6个月,其余4人判处缓刑。每人均被处以3000-8000元不等的罚金。

    The stolen antiques were seized and turned over to the state treasury.

    两个被盗文物已被追回并上交国库。
