China has reaffirmed its commitments to global biodiversity conservation, says UN official

联合国官员表示，中国重申了对全球生物多样性保护的承诺

Environment Program, said that by agreeing to host the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), which is set to kick off on Oct. 11 in the southwestern city of Kunming, China has reaffirmed its commitments to global biodiversity conservation in line with its concept of ecological civilization.

联合国环境规划署的负责人表示，通过同意主办将于10月11日在中国西南城市昆明召开的联合国生物多样性公约第15次缔约方会议，中国重申了根据生态文明理念保护全球生物多样性的承诺。
