Clinic’s Name

Two elderly couples were enjoying friendly conversation when one of the men asked the other，“Fred，how was the memory clinic you went to last month？”

“Outstanding，”Fred replied．“They taught us all the latest psychological techniques—visualization，association—it made a huge difference for me．”

“That’s great！What was the name of the clinic？”

Fred went blank．He thought and thought，but couldn’t remember．Then a smile broke across his face and he asked，“What do you call that red flower with the long stem and thorns？”

“You mean a rose？”

“Yes，that’s it！”He turned to his wife...“Rose，what was the name of that clinic？”

两对老年夫妇正在亲切地交谈。其中一个老头问道：“弗雷德，你上个月去的那家治疗失忆症的诊所怎么样？”

“太棒了！”弗雷德回答说，“他们教授我们最新的心理疗法——形象记忆法，联想记忆法——这让我发生了很大的改变。”

“你是说玫瑰花？”

“对，就是玫瑰！”他转向自己的妻子……问道：“罗丝（英语玫瑰花的音译），那个诊所叫什么来着？”
