后来曲作家沃伊切赫·基拉尔于1981年将此曲改编为交响曲，因为其恢弘的气势和震撼激射的张力而闻名于世。在中国人们听到过的最多的版本是克罗地亚钢琴家马克西姆的钢琴协奏曲版本。但是在网络上此曲被讹传为马克西姆的原创曲（事实上马克西姆没有原创作品，其音乐都为克罗地亚作曲家Tonci Huljic所写）。
