TUNE: DRIPPING GOLD
Mume blossoms leak out the color of spring;
Long willow branch hangs like a string;
Green grass grows fine.
My forehead sprinkled with hoar frost,
How can I not regret golden hours lost!
In fragrant hall I entertain my guest with wine
In farewell feast.
Can I retain you for a while?
Though severed by many a mile,
There’s one who would remember you at least.

梅花漏泄春消息,
柳丝长,
草芽碧。
不觉星霜鬓边白,
念时光堪惜。
兰堂把酒留嘉宾,
对离筵,
驻行色。
千里音尘便疏隔,
会有人相忆。
