醉花阴
Veiled in thin mist and thick cloud, how sad the long day!
薄雾浓云愁永昼,
Incense from golden censer melts away.
瑞脑销金兽。
The Double Ninth comes again;
佳节又重阳,
Alone I still remain
玉枕纱橱,
In silken bed curtain, on pillow smooth like jade.
半夜凉初透。
Feeling the midnight chill invade.
东篱把酒黄昏后,
At dusk I drink before chrysanthemums in bloom,
有暗香盈袖。
My sleeves filled with fragrance and gloom.
莫道不销魂,
Say not my soul
帘卷西风。
Is not consumed. Should the west wind uproll
人比黄花瘦。
