《十七日观潮》是北宋诗人陈师道创作的七言绝句。诗第一句写的是潮头，像一道奔腾的白虹，刹时盖满了江两岸的沙滩；第二句写的是掀起的水波浪花，让人想象是天上的仙杯倾倒而下，溅起的碎银玉屑；三、四两句是写满江涌动的潮水的力量，撼动了倒映其中的天地日月。诗歌用比喻、想象、烘托手法写出了钱塘江潮的势和力。
