《饮酒其一》是晋代诗人陶渊明创作的作品。开头两句就提出一个富有哲理的问题。“衰荣”犹言盛衰。“荣”本意为草木的花，引申为繁盛之意。“彼此”即指上句的衰、荣。宇宙万物，社会人事，莫不有衰有荣，衰荣二者，紧密相连：有荣必有衰，有衰必有荣；没有永远的、一成不变的衰，也没有永远的、一成不变的荣。诗中衰荣并提，重点则在由荣变衰。下文紧接着即引人事申论之。

邵生瓜田中，宁似东陵时！
寒暑有代谢，人道每如兹。
达人解其会，逝将不复疑；
