     As is depicted in the cartoon, a large number of people are stretching out their hands into a celebrity's computer and one hand is reaching from the computer into the man's shirt pocket, presumably to steal something personal from the celebrity.
     Today's world is very much concerned about the lives of celebrities, whether public or private, and many gossip columns in newspapers or on websites are devoted to the latest tittle-tattle of famous people. A prime example of the media exploring the private life of a public figure is the late Princess Diana. She was unmercifully hounded by the media, and could not have a private moment beyond the confines of her home. This caused her much unhappiness during her lifetime and, sadly, it can even be said that this may have led to the end of her life as well. However, it must be said that if there was no demand for the latest gossip then there would be no supply.
     In conclusion, the media tends to give the public what they want and if this includes the private lives of celebrities then so be it. And it has to be said that quite a lot of celebrities are happy with this situation because they love to be in the spotlight.

     当今世界非常关心名人的生活，无论是他们的公共生活还是私生活。而且，报纸和网站上的许多闲话栏全都是名人的最新八卦。媒体窥探名人私生活的最好例证就是已故的戴安娜王妃。那时，媒体无情地不断骚扰她，她一出家门便无法拥有哪怕片刻的私人时间。她在世时，这给她带来很多不幸；而且，很遗憾，甚至可以说这可能还导致了她生命的终结。但是，必须要指出的是，如果大众对名人的最新八卦没有需求，媒体就不会提供这些内容。
     总之，媒体往往会给大众他们想了解的内容；如果其中包括名人的私生活，也只好如此。不得不说，相当多的名人很高兴看到这种情形，因为他们喜欢受到媒体的关注。
