25. 相亲节目
For a small but increasingly high-profile number of young women in modern China, true love is all about the numbers. A potential suitor may have a good sense of humor and good looks, but what really matters is if he owns an apartment and how large it is. A sizable amount of money in the bank account is also a must, and, some say, so is a luxury car. At least, that's the way things look if you watch television programs these days in China. A host of dating shows have emerged in recent years, capturing millions of viewers but angering critics who say the programs have negative influence.
在当今中国，对于一小部分知名度越来越高的年轻女性来说，真爱就是数字。一个潜在的追求者（suitor）可能要很有幽默感而且要英俊，但真正重要的是，他是否拥有一套房子以及房子的大小。另外，可观的银行存款是必需的，而且有人说，豪车也是必需的。如果你看中国电视节目的话，至少现在看起来是这样的。最近几年出现了大量相亲节目，虽然它们吸引了数以百万计的观众，但却激怒了评论家，他们认为这种节目带来了负面影响。
