Across the years he could recall 父亲当年有一事，

His father one way best of all 多年以后记得真。

In the stillest hour of night 已是更深夜正静，

The boy awakened to a light 小儿醒来有光明。

Half in dreams,he saw his sire 梦回时分见老爸，

With his great hands full of fire 彤彤红火满手映。

The hand struck a match to see 划根火柴仔细瞧，

If his son slept peacefully 宝宝是否睡的稳。

He held his palms each side the spark 巴掌挡在火星旁，

His love had bindled in the dark 爱火暗中立升腾。

His two hands were curved apart 双手燃起作一状，

In the semblance of a heart. 不似别物只似心。
