Hello! My dear friends! Now, we have come to another scenic spot, Silver Beach. I am very glad that I have this opportunity to be your tour guide in your trip. I do hope we can have a wonderful trip here in Beihai. Silver Beach is situated south of Beihai City. It is famous for its long beach, white sand, clean water, soft waves, and unpolluted air. In 1992, Silver Beach was designated a National Tourism Resort and one of China's top 35 scenic spots. The Silver Beach is also'known as China's“most beautiful beach” because of its natural attributes, including its length, abundant and gorgeous sunshine, fresh air, and clean water. Silver Beach's mild year round climate makes it an ideal tourist resort. And its fresh air contains 50 to 100 times as many negative oxygen ions as that in the non-coastal cities. The temperature at the beach also averages a comfortable 22.6 degrees Centigrade. The air is quite good for sunbathing as it contains lots of iodine, magnesium chloride, and sodium chloride. All of this makes Silver Beach an excellent convalescent spot for older people and those recovering from illness.
