一、基数词

表示数目多少的数词叫基数词。

（一）基数词1—12是独立的单词。

1 one　2 two　3 three　4 four　5 five

6 six　7 seven　8 eight　9 nine　10 ten

11 eleven　12 twelve

（二）基数词13—19，在个位数上加teen，但thirteen和fifteen的拼法有变化，但要注意eighteen的拼法，eight结尾是字母t，因此，只加een

13 thir teen　14 fourteen　15 fif teen　16 sixteen

17 seventeen　18 eighteen　19 nineteen

（三）基数词20—90，各整数十位数都是以ty结尾，20—100之间的数词，要在十位和个位之间加连字符号“-”

20 twenty　21 twenty-one　22 twenty-two　29 twenty-nine

30 thirty　40 forty　50 fifty　60 sixty

70 seventy　80 eighty　90 ninety

（四）基数词100—900，整百的词由1—9加hundred（百）构成。三位数数词要在百位和十位之间加and

100 one hundred　200 two hundred　300 three hundred

102 one hundred and two　688 six hundred and eighty-eight

Tips：

hundred，thousand（千）等数词前加基数词或表示数量的形容词时，表示具体数字时，通常不用复数形式。但是如果表示模糊的数量时，要加上-s后接of短语。

There are eight hundred and sixty-six students in our school.我们学校有866名学生。（具体的数字）

I have hundreds of books.我有几百本书。（模糊的数字）
