中共中央、国务院发布了2015年中央一号文件，不出意料的连续12年聚焦三农。本次中央一号文件总的提出了5项重点工作，包括围绕城乡发展一体化，深入推进新农村建设。

China released the annual "No 1 Central Document" on Sunday, pledging to further coordinate the development of cities and villages and narrow their gap. China seeks better rural-urban integration.

中国周日发布了一年一度的“中央一号文件”， 承诺进一步协调城市与农村的发展，缩小城乡差距，寻求城乡一体化更好地发展。

城乡一体化可以用英文rural-urban integration或the integration of urban and rural areas表示。过去几十年来，随着城市的扩张(urban expansion)，中国也着重关注农村发展(rural development)，期望将农村建设为新经济引擎(economic engine)。

中共中央每年发布的首个政策性文件(policy document)被称为“中央一号文件”(No 1 Central Document)。自2004年起，一号文件连续11年锁定“三农”主题(three rural issues： agriculture, rural areas and farmers)。

2015中央一号文件指出，将围绕城乡发展一体化，推进社会主义新农村建设(push forward the building of "new socialist countryside");加快转变农业发展方式(transform the development mode of agriculture)，加速农业现代化(agricultural modernization);加大惠农政策(policies that benefit farmers)力度;全面深化农村改革(deepen rural reforms);加强农村法治建设。

文件还提出了鼓励粮食生产(grain production)，培育第二、第三产业(nurture secondary and tertiary industries)，增加农民收入(increase farmers' incomes)的方法，承诺为城市居民(urbanites)和农民工(migrant workers)提供同等的公共服务与机遇(public services and opportunities)。
