According to the Khmer Times, on April 24, the Ministry of Tourism released a report that the number of Chinese tourists to Cambodia in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 43% year-on-year.
据《高棉时报》消息，4月24日，旅游部发布报告称，2024年第一季度赴柬埔寨的中国游客人数同比增长43%。
Nearly 190,000 Chinese tourists visited Cambodia between January and March this year, up 43 percent from 132,665 in the same period last year, the report said.
报告指出，今年1月至3月期间，有近19万名中国游客前往柬埔寨旅游，比去年同期的13万2665人增加43%。
The report said Chinese tourists accounted for 12% of the total number of foreign visitors to Cambodia. Cambodia attracted 1.58 million foreign tourists in the first quarter of this year, up 22.5% from 1.29 million foreign tourists in the first quarter of last year.
报告说，中国游客占柬埔寨外国游客总数的12%。今年第一季度柬埔寨共吸引158万外国游客，比去年第一季度的129万外国游客增长22.5%。
In the first quarter of this year, China was the third largest source of foreign tourists to Cambodia, after Thailand and Vietnam, the report said.
