This morning, we're getting a fresh new look at an old classic.

In 1889, Vincent van Gogh checked himself into a psychiatric hospital in southern France.

And it was there he completed some of his most notable works, that includes "Irises".

This masterpiece has been studied by artists and historians for more than a century.

But now, researchers are using the latest technology to give us a look at the painting that's never been seen before.
