China's fixed-asset investment (FAI) went up 10.3% year-on-year in the first seven months of this year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed Monday. During the January-July period, FAI amounted to 30.25 trillion yuan.

国家统计局8月16日发布数据显示，1—7月份，全国固定资产投资(不含农户)30.25万亿元，同比增长10.3%;

Compared with the 2019 level, FAI growth came in at 8.7% for the period. The average January-July growth rate in the last two years stood at 4.3%.

比2019年1—7月份增长8.7%，两年平均增长4.3%。

Investment by the private sectors rose 13.4% to 17.35 trillion yuan in the first seven months.

其中，民间固定资产投资17.35万亿元，同比增长13.4%。

On a month-on-month basis, FAI gained 0.18% in July.

从环比看，7月份固定资产投资(不含农户)增长0.18%。

FAI includes capital spent on infrastructure, property, machinery and other physical assets.

固定资产投资包括基础设施、房地产、机械以及其他实物资产投资。
