Chinese courts nationwide concluded 265,341 environmental and resource cases in 2021, up 4.76 percent year on year, according to a report released by the Supreme People's Court on Sunday, which was World Environment Day.

By the end of last year, 2,149 specialized judicial organs for environmental and resource cases had been established across the country, according to the report.
