菩萨蛮
I remember I was drunk before flowers last year,
年时记着花前醉,
But now with flowers fallen, languid I appear.
而今花落人憔悴。
Wheat undulates like waves ’neath the fine sky;
麦浪卷晴川,
I’m saddened by cuckoos’ home-going cry.
杜鹃声可怜。
Where can I find message-bearing wild geese?
有书无雁寄,
On locust trees blows early summer breeze.
初夏槐风细。
My home’s beyond rainbow cloud’s dream;
家在落霞边,
I’m grieved to see the full moon on the stream.
愁逢江月圆。
